If you have a partner you will probably want to involve a lawyer for incorporating it from the very beginning. That way one or other of you won't be able to cheat the other out of their share which unfortunately does happen all too often in these situations when there is nothing written up in advance.
Or else a lawyer is generally required when you tend to grow, looking for M&A(Merger and accusations).
