brand promotion, as the name suggests it is the promotion of brand. Generally brand promotion is required when a company wants to establish its network in some new place or simply wants to reminds its presence in the market.
ex. When a companies sponsors some sports event like football League, it is called as brand promotion.
Marketing of product needs when a company launches it's new product in the market and wants the consumers to know about it, so they can buy it.
