Well i try to explain in brief:
Trademark is a type of registration under which only company logo, company name falls. Once a logo or company name is trademarked then it is protected from being used by any other company but it does not mean that the company is registered as existing.
To call a company existing it has to be registered under some scheme like PVT LTD, LTD or single owned etc.
